Welcome to the Harbor House staff handbook. This quickstart covers your first shift: where to arrive, who to meet, and how we greet every guest.
First day
Arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled start. The floor manager will assign stations after the briefing.
Your first hour
- Clock in at the staff entrance on Dock Street.
- Collect a clean apron and name badge from the linen closet.
- Join the pre-service briefing in the parlor.
- Walk the dining room once before doors open.
- Uniform pressed and shoes polished
- Allergen card in apron pocket
- Phone on silent and stored away
